Canadian National Railway (CN) will strike just after midnight Saturday (Nov. 28).Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC), which represents about 1,700 CN engineers has been without a contract since last December.
CN has offered engineers' wages by 1.5 per cent.
The change would see some locomotive engineers work seven days a week, with no time off, and cause layoffs among conductors, trainmen and yardmen, the union said.
